The Miami Beach Woman’s Club is the city’s newest and most unique venue. Tucked into the intimately beautiful Collins Park neighborhood, the Club serves as a multi-purpose event space, with the capacity to host a wide variety of functions both indoor and outdoor. Its' original Miami Mediterranean style circa 1933 has been thoughtfully and beautifully renovated. Preserving the venue’s original historic charm and incorporating contemporary details, the Miami Beach Woman’s Club is a versatile blank canvas boasting 3,500 square feet indoors and 1,500 square feet outdoors perfect for any occasion.
In the wake of the devastating 1926 hurricane, some of Miami Beach’s most renowned and influential women established the Miami Beach Woman’s Club with the intent of fostering neighborly friendship and community. Renowned novelist and founding President, Mrs. Clayton Sedgwick Cooper stated in her founding speech, "Let us be all inclusive, and know no North or South or East or West, nor caste, but include all in our friendships."
The members originally met at the home of the founding president, but Miami Beach real estate promoter, Carl G. Fisher so appreciated the women’s efforts to create a culturally rich community that in 1927 he donated the site to build a clubhouse. In 1933 ground was broken on the beautiful Mediterranean style venue, where the building still stands today.
The importance of the Woman’s Club within the growing Miami Beach community is illustrated by one of their earliest endeavors, a 'Book Shower' which resulted in the donation of nearly 900 volumes and the creation of the Miami Beach Public Library in Collins Park.
Over the years the Woman’s Club has persevered, and in 1974 was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Recently in 2015, the Miami Beach Woman’s Club re-opened after extensive renovations by the South Beach Group. The building now shines as one of the original examples of early Miami Beach, and features gorgeous original elements such as the unique chandeliers, gorgeous oversized Mediterranean entry doors and vaulted beamed ceilings.

All of our spaces are suitable for meetings, workshops, conferences and corporate functions. Our event space can be decorated and or partitioned to meet your specific business needs. We offer our corporate clients 3,500 sq feet of meeting space accommodating 76 guests in classroom style seating or 280 guests reception style seating. We will provide you with a dedicated conference service manager, assisting with all operations, and audio visual needs.
Our event team will execute your wedding flawlessly, while our venue serves as the perfect backdrop to create memories that will last a lifetime on this most special day. With more than 1,500 square foot outdoor area with a lovely garden and spacious lawn available for tented receptions, we can accommodate all of your guests in our full-service neighboring hotels. Warm wooden floors are accented by original architecture and gracious space. From start to finish, you won’t need to lift a finger until the ring is slipped on and you say, "I do."
We offer a unique 3,500 square foot auditorium venue, equipped to entertain up to 200 guests including three dressing rooms and a VIP green room behind the stage. We are the perfect venue for a comedian, intimate concert or theatrical performance.
We have an ideal South Beach locale with direct beach access and within blocks to Ocean Drive, Licoln Road, Española Way and the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The Miami Beach Woman's Club is an excellent venue for your events. The building is beautiful and can be customized to your needs.
